InstaFax is operated by Sequens Ltd. This page explains what we collect when you send a fax and how long we keep it.
What we collect
To send a fax we process the destination fax number you enter, the PDF you upload, and your payment. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
How your document is handled
Your uploaded PDF is held only transiently while your payment is confirmed and the fax is transmitted, then automatically purged within minutes. We do not build a long-term archive of the documents you send. Transmission to the destination fax line is carried out by our telephony provider, Telnyx.
Sensitive documents
You are responsible for confirming the recipient before sending. InstaFax is a general-purpose consumer fax tool and is not, by itself, a HIPAA-covered service; do not use it to transmit protected health information on behalf of a healthcare organization without an appropriate agreement in place.
