What we do
Faxing is still how a large share of healthcare, legal and government documents are exchanged, but almost nobody owns a fax machine anymore. InstaFax bridges that gap: your document is transmitted over a secure connection for a single, flat fee, and you receive confirmation once it has been delivered.
How we source fax numbers
The provider fax numbers and details in our directory come from the NPPES NPI Registry — the National Plan & Provider Enumeration System, a public dataset maintained by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Healthcare providers are required by federal law to keep their records current.
Because registry data can lag behind real-world changes, every listing shows when its record was last updated and links back to the official NPI Registry entry so you can verify it. We always recommend confirming a fax number with the recipient before sending sensitive documents.
